Diane Bashuk.
Diane knows how to work hard. This woman is so consistent and always shows up, even if her mind may be telling her she doesn’t want to be there. When she first came to me for personal coaching, she mentioned wanting to get better at some specific gymnastics drills, but didn’t ever see herself doing a muscle up. After training together for a relatively short period of time, I quickly saw her confidence increase. We talked about working muscle up drills and she said yes. THAT, is SO frickin’ COOL! Watching her transform the way she believes in her own capabilities is the reason I love my job so much.
“As I experience success and have begun to understand body control, I just want to keep being challenged, learning more and expanding my goals. I think personal coaching has sort of also been a kind of ‘therapy’ where I go to just focus on skills and abilities and can leave with a sense of accomplishment. That's been priceless.”
Every single session Diane amazed me. This athlete is so much stronger than she realizes. A bit of self doubt would creep in when I would throw a new drill her way that she had never done before. But she always chose to trust the process and went above and beyond in our time together. We kicked doubts and fears in the face!
